The story of Mary and Cory first began in an unexpected setting in July of 2015. Against all odds, a cute, happy-go-lucky nurse from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida somehow crossed paths with a strapping young pharmacist from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at a pharmacy in Mishawaka, Indiana. To say that they crossed paths in a state that uses “The Crossroads of America” as their slogan would almost be too cliche to actually believe. They say love can be found in strange places usually when you least expect it. Little did Cory know, his future wife was actually one of his customers who used Meijer Pharmacy for their free antibiotic program. While waiting in line, Mary and her friend Heather noticed Cory working back in the pharmacy. For some crazy reason, Mary made eye contact with him and thought it would be a good idea to introduce herself. Unfortunately, Mary was too awe-struck to make a formal introduction, so Heather took it upon herself to express Mary’s interest to one of the technicians. The indirect introduction was not done very discreetly, and Cory could hear every single word. Although slightly awkward, it still brought a smile to both Cory and Mary’s faces. A few days later, Mary came back to the pharmacy where Cory quickly greeted her with a big smile and proceeded to ask her if she would like to join him in an upcoming volunteering event. A few Facebook messages later, phone numbers were exchanged. After a few hundred texts and a few quirky pick up lines, they found themselves on their first date playing frizbee golf and eating fro-yo. From that point on, Mary and Cory have been inseparable. They've found true love.
